Had A Fish Die Of Slime Disease - Help

got some new fish and they wiped out the tank . Now my question is what should i do to the tank before adding new fish ? been treating it with "rid ich " but dont want the new fish to get sick ? any help would be appriciated

I presume you were treating of ICH?

If so, raise the temp to about 34 c and add food daily to keep the filters ticking over. Leave it for a month, and then you can gravel vac, while doing a 90% waterchange, adding a replacement stock of fish.

This allows the ICH to die off, without loosing those precious filter bacteria
