over the past day lost over 500 quids worth of fish due to bacterial infection

so im that sick i have put tank in quarantine, medicating the stripping down when done and re cycling as im going to renew filter media and change decor

fish thats left after quarentine will be moved to other tanks

That's why is always best to issolate new fish, and even more when you have spent a fortune on them.
Heard of members keeping expensive fish to go and buy some cheap little fish only to wipe the expensive ones out.

it was the discus that has caused it and did quarentine them but not for long enough

but no one is perfect and we all learn by our mistakes

well all other fish have gone either into quarentine or died so tank is now emty and gettting revamped pics to follow
