i has three females and two males.. i juss let em has at it.. i feed the fry to my betta, that is, when the guppys dont eat them.

I would get a couple more females as they prob feel hounded by the males as everyone says on here general rule of thumb is 2-3 females to 1 male. But you'll have to get ready as when they do start breeding there will be loads of fry

I've only just separated them and am trying my hand at matching them up on purpose... though, I admit I know nothing about guppy genetics. I am just matching the ones I really like together in hopes that their best qualities rub off on their babies.

I'm just letting my fish breed with which they choose and then I choose which fry I want to keep and which are left in main tank for the survival game. But that works in swordtails and whatever shows colors young. Guppies might be impossible to figure out as fry what colors they will have, so your best bet is to separate males from females once they start developing and then mix the pairs you want fry from in a different tank.
