Guppys

Man, I love these fish. Yesterday I got 4 new ones, 2 males and two females Delta Green Guppys. I was suprised at how little they were, they couldn't have been but a few weeks old.

Yeh guppies are cute. I have 4. 2 blue tailed with yellow body male and female. And a female thats yellow with a dotty tail and a male who is just loads of colours.

No i havent brourght fish from those sites mate.

Did you already have some Guppies?. The females need to outnumber the males by around three to one.

I've spoken to Doug at Delta guppies before, but never had any fish though.

Breeders like Doug though are the best and if you get line breed females with the male then you fry will be 95% true and then you can pass them on to other people like us here.

I breed 3 types of guppies here but there are many line's going around know and the moscow blues are my fav ATM and are selling for £15 a pair ATM

I love livebearers overall! I started with 2 females and 1 male guppies. The females were blonde but one had a red tail, the male was a black guppy. My blonde female popped yesterday, and my fry tank is full of guppy and platy fry!! I had 2 platys as well, one died a week ago though, she was in my hospital tank, and appearantley died from old age and my other platy should pop anyday now! Yesterday my mom brought home an early easter present- a lace king cobra male guppy!! I went to buy a new female as well, to keep the numbers straight, and now I have a grey female. I also have MTS's which are livebearer snails, so my tank is full of livebearers!!

oh i too love guppies, at one point between me and my sister we had over 100 so we had to sell a few dosen, we now have about 30 between us, but i love them all the same, they are great little characters
