Tomorrow I will be having a mixture of male and female plattys and guppys. I know this breed the most and best and the reason I have got them is that these two are my main small favourt fish. I also have 4 albino corys on the bottom or the waste that fulls. Its a well planted tank with loads of places to hide. And my main idea is letting them breed (Naturaly) and selling or giving away the fry when big enough.

1. Whats the best way for fry to survive (Breeding box or let them in big tank with other fish)
2. When are they able to be sold?
3. How can I tell how old the fry is ?

1. In a seperate tank spawning and fry only tank then remove the female once spawned. The next best is a spawning box, then spawning net, then free roam of the tank. Guppies generally ignore their young and won't eat many I am not sure on plattys as I do not keep them
2. You will hardly make any money from selling them they are to easy to breed and to freely available. I get 5-10p store credit each time I give my local store my guppies.
3. Size and colouration, once you start breeding them you will find it really easy to distinguish the age

okay thanks for the advice. will try breeding and birthing in tank if that doesnt work then will try fry/breeding box etc.

well I will just give them To LFS or free off here etc..
