Guppy's Eyes Black

Hi all, im very new to all this, our goldfish died so we though we would give the warm water a try. (quick note - i did clean, clean and clean and all the other things too, i didnt just pop the guppies in the goldfish water!!!)

we have had our 3 guppys (caramel, crunchie and fudge) since June. All silver with smallish tails (females??) and are happily living in their tank which they share with loads of snails (who hitched a ride home on the pesky petsathome plants)

well this morning i noticed that their eyes have changed and no longer have an outer silver rim but are completely black - are my guppies sick?

please help?

im trying to get a pic but the pesky fish dont like the camera!

Firstly, Welcome to TFF, Secondly, I also despise the petsathome snails, and Thirdly, I had a guppy like this and it lived for about 17 months then died, I'm not too sure, I also know that it can be anger related, but don't worry, I just checked another guppy and it has black eyes and he's been alive for two years.
