Guppys, Danios, Pleco, Algae Tab = laugh. :)

I was watching my Pleco and I haven't put any algae tabs in for a couple days after my last stunt of way too many. I decided to try tonight and just dropped a half one in right below the side of the tank my Pleco was on.

Well, the guppies and danios saw the algae tab fall and seemd to think it was their food and headed straight for it. I guess the Pleco must like them because the minute they got close he swooped down from the side of the tank to the algae tab.

Didn't go near the other fish per say, but definitely made it known that was his Algae tab.

My Pleco always liked his algae tabs, too It's so entertaining to watch the fish when an algae tab is dropped in! If people saw my tank after I put algae wafers in it, they'd think Neons were bottom feeders! My Neons love the algae wafers! Silly little fishies

good to know its not just my silly little tetras.i allways wonder how much my pleco gets after the tetras go for it

I put a bottom feeder tablet and an algae in for my cories, and the pictus grabs them and tries to haul them away before it realizes that they don't taste like his meat ones, then he drops them, which drives the cories nuts.

all my cories always never go hungry.they love their cory cat wafers and when i first got them they gorged themselves on the algae wafer.(which is why they are all fat)still keeps the tanks clean though
