hi im near to the hobby i have found a guppy dead in my tank this morning and he had no tail fin could my other guppies of killed it . many thanks dan

How long has your tank been set up, Dan? How big is the tank and how many fish are in it? How often do you do water changes, when did you last do one, and do you have any test kits?

To attempt to answer your specific question, it is possible, but equally, the fish may have lost its fin after it died. Most fish will pick at carcasses in the tank, even ones of their own species.

I think it died for a different reason and the other fish started to eat it. And what other fish do you have in the tank, maybe some of your other fish did stress it out by nipping it

well i had add two guppies to the four i already had and one of them is dead n the other was getting chased by the other four so took it out and put in my other tank . thanks
