Been looking at 1 of my female guppys this evening and she appears to have a graze and some skin coming off near to her gill. Is this just normal shedding of old skin or could she of caught it or even a injury caused by another fish, ive noticed when i turn the light on she likes to dive bomb to the bottom could this of caused it thanks.

Doesn't sound normal, more like an injury of some sort. I would recommend taking your water stats and then posting this in the emergencies forum. Read the pinned topic at the top first to make sure you've included all the releveant info.
If you have a quarantine tank maybe you should isolate her in the meantime.
