Guppies will get more coloring as they grow. Is she, by any chance, young? Also, Guppies will just sometimes change coloring. I've had it happen with some of my males, they get more markings. Sometimes with the females too. I'm guessing it looks normal on your's though, not like she's diseased or anything? :)

Yes happened to us.
A change of environment can make the difference too.

Naturally, guppies live in muddy waters and the bright colouration is a combination of needing to be seen and to breed.

When we kept our guppies in a well lit tank, with little vegtation, they were dull and pretty boring. As they grew and we moved them to a larger, planted tank, they became much more colourful.

Agreed, my Cobra male has changed his color pattern since I had him. His body is much more yellow which used to be white. Changes in environment, diet, stress level, and age can all lead to altered colors in Guppies. Usually more so in males than females, but females are not exempt from color changes :)
