Dropsy Help . Check out that link. There is usually not much positiveness that comes out when a fish has dropsy. A treatment of Maracyn 2 made by the Mardel company may help. As it states it treats for dropsy.

think it died today anyway theres bits of its skin on the gravel and it isnt around

Dropsy hard to cure once there scales stick out organ failure.
Neverf wise to keep a sick fish in the tank they have pecked at the body of the dead fish now and that how dropsy spreads.
I would add a bacterial med now with this happening.
