Guppy Trouble!

i started out with 12 guppies in a 40 gallon tank 8 females and 4 males. Now im left with 4 males and 1 female. It seems to me every time one would get pregnant it would start to retreat into the deeper planted area near the heater and when i would look for them they would be dead!!! i got my water tested and its all good what could be going on!!

How long has the tank been set up and cycled for? guppies tend to prefer mature tanks around 6 months

does this problem occures with only the pregnant guppys or with all of them?

Addly enough, I had a similar experience. All of my females died after either birthing or while they were pregnant. I'm pretty sure it was my fault because I didn't remove them soon enough and my black neons probably stressed they too much. Now I have a bunch of fry with no parents. Live and learn.

Ya iv only had this trouble with the females its been running for three to four months now.
