Guppy Sex Change,,,,,,?

is it possible

bc at first he had a female anal fin

and his colors are like a female

and he is huge and his body looks like a females body

but just a few weeks ago (after i added 3 more females)\

i noticed he was a male.....

is it possible that she had a sex change and is now a he?

How old is this fish? It could be a late developing male.

I've had a couple guppy males that I thought were females due to body type and colouring and dang them if they didn't turn out to be males eventually. And there's others that I've known were males from almost fry stage...go figure. It is a puzzlement to be sure. Late maturing...yep, that'd figure. It sure makes for some quick changes around of fish--new males back into the males only tank, once I spot them. Ahh who knows, maybe they were pretending to be females so they'd end up with the girls and be able to have a go at them before I noticed them!

Could very well be a late blooming male, but also the females will somtimes tuck up their anal fins when stressed out, and that can kinda look like a male's anal fin.

hes now chasing the females ...

i guess it was a late bloomer he was only a 6 or 7 moths old
