Guppy Questions

I have kept guppies before, but since maybe a year ago. I bought two males yesterday who seem much smaller than i remember my previous ones being, they are even smaller than my neon tetras, i would say they are roughly 1inch including tails! Is this normal petstore size? Also if i wanted to breed off them how many females would I need?

you can get them alot smaller, they could be dwarf guppies

And its a 3 - 1 ratio
so 1 male 3 females needed

Could have been a Guppy/Endler strain as i have three males the same size.

They could be just youngsters who are not fully grown yet, or endler guppies which tend to be smaller.
Are you sure you want to breed, have you enough room for 20/30 fry from each female every month?
How are you going to rehome the fry, most Lfs won't take them

i have more than one tank and they arn't endlers they are leapord guppies
