I got a pair of guppies a few days ago. They are settling in nicely. :) I made sure that i got a preggo female when i purchased them. I can see the gravid spot but it looks like it has a red tint to it. -_- is that normal? Does that mean she ended the pregnancy?
Sorry i cant get a pic

It could mean a few things - unfertilized eggs, internal injury or parasites - hard to say. Having said that, I do have one orangie/yellow girlie whose gravid spot always appears red tinted - and there's nothing wrong with her. Watch for other symptoms.

Me? I'm not even a little bit concerned. I've had her for months, she's always been like that and is among the most active fish in my tank. She's never been sick, or had a problem - if it were an internal injury she'd be dead by now, and the parasites wouldn't have survived the treatment my tank got a couple months back. Thanks for your concern, though.

Ah, you were agreeing they should keep an eye on her... Sorry, I totally misunderstood. :*)

When a guppies gravid spot is red that mean the eggs are not fully fertilized, the gravid spot will change colour to a dull black then dark black later one when they do fertilize.
My guppies always have rede gravid spot right after they have given birth... is normal. And some younger female guppies can also get red gravid spot when they have not mated with a male guppy...
