Guppy Pregnancy

Ive had my one female guppy for like 5 weeks now and no sign of breeding...all conditions are perfect and ph is 7.5....i wonder whats going on? how long has anyone had to wait for their guppys drop....i herd 5 months??? who knows

Wait, what you said is very confusing.

First of all, is the female pregnant? Is there a male in the tank?

Second, it only takes a month to a moth and a half, tops for the fry to drop if the female is pregnant.

Third, I'd like to knwo if you read up on guppies and livebearers in general or at least know what you're doing. (Sorry for how this sounds, but I'd like to know how much you've learned or already know)

u might wanna check if u have a female and a male , first THEN see if u can do soem reserch with google on the breedign conditions for the guppys, Knowledge = power and she might even be pregnant , if she is a female and jsut hasnt started shwoing wait a week befor eu do anythign drastic

i had my platy for a month and 25 days and then they finally gave birth to a lovely fry! just give them some time to get used to your tank!
Dontcha worry they will give you some cute, "cutaful" or "cute-awful" fry!!
Just joking about "cute-awful"!!!!

I say be patient.... I've had females that give birth the day I bring them home then others that take up to 3months and males are present too. Could be the female is stressed and not comfortable in its surroundings yet. Give it time fit in
