guppy plus barbs???

my 2 pregnant females are being bothered by my male guppy, i want to move him to the big tank so that he doesnt bother them and they have there babies and then join him in big tank, my question is...

would my rosy barbs tail nip and probably kill my male guppy if i put him in?

there are 5 lemon tetras in there that are fine, would the guppy be ok also???

does no-one know?? sorry to be hasty and specially at this time day when no one around but i need to know as he wont stop bugging her and i dont want her 2 stressed or him dead! any help at all be welcomed

I think rosy barbs would be fine, from my experience with them, they are nothing like the nippy tiger barbs.

Barbs generally do nip fins and I suspect a guppy would be too tempting. If you are going to do it, I would put him in and keep an eye on them for an hour or so. Rosy barbs are not known to be as bad as tiger barbs for example so you may be lucky.

cheers for advice, i put him in and 3 hours later hes actually joined the barb "crew" and if fine , as for the females there sitting round in that.. IM GOING TO EXPLODE state
