Guppy Picking On Platy

Hello. I have had a 10 gallon guppytank for a month and a half. I added 6 male guppies (3 one week and 3 the next).One of them somehow got an open wound on his side and died (nipping maybe? Or hescraped the cave). So I went back to the store to replace him. I bought onelittle guppy and one Mickey Mouse platy. I put them in my 10 gallon tank yesterday. Ever since then, my blue guppyhas been picking on my platy. Before I bought the platy, the blue guppy was thebiggest one in the tank with the biggest tail. The platy isn’t much bigger. Is my guppy nipping my platybecause he wants to be the boss? How do I make him stop?

it is a boy platy in with 5 boy guppies. so there are no girls to fight over.
