For some reason i have a guppy (female?) that seems to pick on a male swordtail. The guppy will come up to the sword and peck at his face and sides. The funny thing is that the sword dosent swim away. Also i have a female sword and she swim around eats, dose everything normal. Except she goes and hides by laying underneath a piece of driftwood. I have no idea whats going on, i think i might take out the guppy. Oh the guppy is about 2 months old. thanks in advance

Dosn't have parasites does he, mine did it when mine had gill flukes.

actually the funnt thing is that i had another female sword sho had a parasite (string looking thing) coming out of the bottom of her mouth. I woke up to find out she jump to her death. these ones dont have any string looking things , but the gill area dose seem to be red!!!

Also the tank levels are

Ammonia - 0PPM
Nitrite - 0PPM
Nitrate - 5 mg/l
PH - 7.4

Gill flukes red and inflamed gills and heavy breathing, my platys had red gill area so medicated for gill flukes, sound like it could be that.

You will have to medicate the whole tank i'm afraid good luck.
