she is at the bottom of the tank breathing really fast and just sitting there. what is wrong with her? she had fry about 5 days ago.

have you tested your water?
Try give them a 20-25% water change and the if nothing then give them a small dose of myxaizin. This is to flush the gill's if they are infected.

Just changed the water and cleaned out gravel. she is still at the bottom sitting there breathing ast. i am going to see how she is in the morning. then ill give an update

do that a couple more times in the next week they work wanders.

I had that problem with my guppy for a while, sadly mine passed away though

Mine ended up being a high ammonia level in the water due to incease of fish and waste and stuff like that.

Water change should help, But changing the water to often does mess around with the Ph levels.

Hope the guppy lives. Fingers crossed for you.:)

Keep us informed:)

xx

she may be tired as you think about giving birth to lots of babys you would be dead beat ,its just the same for fish i would put her in a birthing tank so she is away from other fish as they can stress her out but no longer than 24 hours see how she goes

Thanksfor the replies. i thiink, from what someone told me, is she is just tired of having fry (by the way is now 17 :hyper: ) i just got water tested and its fine. i am she is swimming around now but still breathing fast. occasionally sits at bottom.

cam home today and she was dead :rip: :byebye: . i thought she was going to make it. i found another fry so i thought she had another and died from it  . luckily, the lfs replaces the fish if it dies and the water is ok :) . i hope this has not affected my water :look:
