my tank is now cycled so today I got some new fish. I got 2 mollys (male and female) 2 swordtails (male and female) and 1 female guppy.
The thing is as soon as I put the fish in my male guppy keeps trying to mate with the new female swordtail! Is this actually a possible mating? He just doesnt seem as interested in my female guppy.
The female guppy has a dark gravid spot, so is she pregnant already or is a dark spot normal and it just gets bigger if they are pregnant?
She is a small guppy, I just wonder why he keeps chasing the swordtail with his gonopodim (or whatever you call it) going crazy trying to mate with her. I also wonder how she will get on if he keeps harassing her.
