Guppy Lost Colour

In the past 48 hours one of my 2 guppies has died and the other is looking very sick. He has lost most of his colour in his tail and his tail seems to be paralysed.

The rest of the tank seems fine (2 x platies, 1 x glowlight tetra, 1 x zebra tetra, 1 x spotted ancistrus pleco)

Have you tested your water yet, you are most likely having an ammonia spike.
