Guppy Life Span

How long do they live? I've been told its not very long.

at 78oF they should live for 18-24 months

lower the temp the longer they can live, i've currently got a few that's over 2 and a half years old.

Things like that all depend on how well you take care of them. I've had guppies live for three years without any problems and eventually die of old age. Come to think of it...I've got a fish that will be 9 years old next month and it's a Neon Tetra!

wow, i dont think ive eva had a fish for a year then again im new to this and ive only had fishes for a few months
