Guppy In Trouble

I have a female guppy who appears to be suffering from a prolapse. It looks as though her insides are hanging out. Can anything be done or should I euthanize her?

I didn't even think she was pregnant, she wasn't that big. There are no babies, but they may have been eaten.

It doesn't sound like she had fry. I have never a fish having prolapse, but my hamster had it. We tried to spay her, but she died. And of course you can't spay a fish. Do you have a picture?

Sorry no pictures, I really want a digital camera but I keep spending my money on fish tanks.

I think I'm going to have to euthanize her, she looks just awful and I'd hate for her to suffer. This sucks.

does it look like there are red strings hanging out of her anus? This would be a sign of internal parasites.
