Guppy Ich?

just whent upstaires and noticed that my guppy had weird white lumps on his fins and 3 on is back.. is it really possible this could take place within a few hours?? he didnt have anything on him when i got home from school im not really sure if its ich or not because the lumps look bigger than a grain of salt and ive ssen ich before and this looks different.
hes in a separate tank now btw
any ideas?

umm well they arnt clustered together an they dont look like cauliflower but i think they bigger than normal ich spots though..they are also slightly raised off the scales.

i would get pics but it would be hopeless as when they come out they look like nothing..

Ok the trouble is as the spots get bigger they can start to join up.
I would issolate the fish and try a bacterial med for now.

will do hes already isolated and hes the only guppy in my community. any idea what it is hes got?

Its bacterial to a virus.
