Hi

We have are new to the hobby and have set up our first tank. We completed fish less cycle and added first fish (5 zebra dainios) 8 days ago. Added 6 Guppys yesterday and all were acting fine. Checked this morning and one guppy was lying on the bottom of the tank. There are no other visible symptoms. Not really sure whats wrong? The other Guppy's are active

The tank appears to have normal ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings. The tank has several live plants.
Although there is quite a problem with hair algae.

We do not have a quarantine tank but thinking should get one today and seperate the guppy?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

How many gallons/litres is the tank? Does the guppy appear skinny/have sunken stomache at all?

Guppy died last night. He was skinnier than the other Guppies and had a slightly arched spine.
Tank has 100 litres.

From reading other posts sounds like it may have been an intenal bacterial problem. Do I need to treat the other fish in the tank now or only if other fish show signs of illness?

If its internal bacteria (which is likely) i would treat the tank for it as livebearers like guppys seem to be particually prone to the desease and it is likely that some of the other fish have it even if they are not showing symptoms just yet- "Anti internal bacteria" by Interpet is good  .

I Added the anti internal bacteria earlier today. Just back from work now and did an inspection of all the fish and spotted one of the guppies with a small patch of fungas (white patch like cotten wool) on his back.

Having read other posts and appears that fungas needs other medication but the instructions on the anti internal bacteria states it cannot be used with other treatments. Is there anything I can use to treat the fungas?
