this sounds like a ripoff....
i picked up a verry nice half black male for $2.50 a fue months ago at petsmart.
i also found a half black female at my LFS for $2 .
i woldnt buy a gupie nless you can see it up close...... 5 is wqay too much for a guppie and the "$50-$75" was for show quality witch you cant be shure of with this guy..... steer clear

thanks, that's sorta what i was thinking too. they don't sound like an experienced guppy breeder at all if they had to go and ask someone else what type it was.

Yeah thats some bs. I even own/breed half blacks guppies, they're not as uncommon as the person says and when guppies are offered for over $50 on aquabid as he says, they never sell for that price. Hmmm i wonder why?

if you want some half black pastels i can send you some for free.... im up to my knees in guppy fry and woldnt charge you a thing... well shiping but im shure thats not that bad... give me about a month to sex them and let them grow to a point i can safely ship them to you..... i dont claim to be a "guppie breeder" but i have a nice stock of cobras, tux , half black and i just got some new males that i havent identified yet but are the most colorful guppies i have ever seen.....

PM me or AIM me and ill give you details.. ps if you liike green cobras i have a trio i can send you to getcha started.

EDIT: the cobras are show winners but the half blacks have a uniqe tail type so im not shure if you wold win shows or not with them.

As far as price you have to decide what you want the fish for. If they are to be pets and breeders for fun then don't pay high dollar. If you want to show and continue quality lines, then invest in show quality trios.

People do pay that much on aquabid and straight from breeders if they have the second goal mentioned above
