Guppy Fry

So, our guppies bred. Not unexpected.

Some of the fry survived. A little less ordinary, but hey, pats on the back all round.

Soon they are going to be definable as guppies.

Then, what?

What do you guys do with your additional guppies?

I don't want to keep them as feeder fish, I don't have any one who wants them

I haven't asked the (not so L)FS, but would they take them, in your experience.

Don't really have the space for another tank!

Usually LFS will take them in. You may not get any money for them, or if you do get money it will be very cheap.

I usually give away my Guppies to friends, or the fish stores around here. Some I keep because they are duller, and thus more hardy, so I use them for breeding purposes.

Just beware...if they bred this time, they'll KEEP breeding, and you'll have more and more fry.
