Hi, I have had some pregnant guppies and the other day ended up with 14 fry. In the morning there were only 2 there. I then put the pregnant females in a breeding tank and I now have about 18 Fry. I am taking the last female out of the breeding tank and putting her back into the big tank that I have with the rest of my fish. The fry will then be in a small tank of there own. Do I need to keep the plants in there and also how do I know that when I put the drops of liquidfry in that they are getting it. If anyone can give me some help on raising the fry I would be really grateful.

I would keep the plants just until the fry are a little older as there may be valuable food growing on them... If they aren't getting the liquid food they'll die. I would also try feeding a little powdered flake - livebearer fry are usualy large enough to eat this. Don't worru too much about them - livebearer fry have a way of surviving everything and they grow very quickly too.
