Guppy Fry

I have my guppy fry in a small tank and they are now around a week old.

I just have a few questions

When can I tell the sex?
When do the fry start to get their colour?
How often should I do water changes?

I would do small daily water changes, in my opinion anyway, they fry should grow quicker this way

I think every few days is fine. Daily is a bit much, and I don't think that helps them grow!

Basically you'll be able to tell the sex as soon as you can see the anal fin clearly, which is usually several weeks. The first color you'll see is black, and that will happen after a couple of months.

I'd also go with every few days to do a water change. And I've never known of daily water changed making fry grow quicker? :\

I'm thinking you must have misinterpreted. I think that if the fry are in unclean water it could stunt their growth, but changing water daily won't help them grow faster. A healthy tank with plenty of food will do that.

I was also under the impression that daily water changes boosts fry growth. Good job you mentioned this, I wont be breaking my back on doing daily water changes for my fry tanks anymore, instead I'll do it every other day
