I have guppies in with black neon tetras. If the guppies give birth, will the BNT eat the fry? I assume they will view them as food but I'm not sure. I may have 2 pregnant female guppies so I need to know sooner than later.

Thanks.

Yep their think your nice treating them to some live food.

Thanks for the reply helter. On average, how many fry could each have? And if I'm not really interested with becoming a breeder yet, is there a problem with letting them have at it? I'm not trying to be cruel but I don't have many options as of now.

Thanks.

if you dont want then then thats the best thing u can do, it's perfectly natural.

They can have from 5 to 50 fry at a time, depending on the size etc etc

Thanks again. I may not have a choice for now but I don't want to get rid of the females cause I'd like to breed some at a later time when I can seperate them.

well if you get plenty of plants and rocks then you may fine the odd fry may surive.

I do have plenty of plants so maybe some will survive. Here's hoping.

Thanks.
