oh wow what a day. so my brother threw away his really old really heavy tv when he knocked on my door and asked me if i wanted the tv stand for my 10 gallon. i said hell yeah i do. for months, i had my 10 gallon on a rickety metal stand i bougth at petco. i was always worried that it would fall over. so anyway, i had to take out about half of the water out of the tank so we could move it to the new tank stand. i'm filling up a vase and dumping out water when all of a sudden i find a baby amongst the plants. i quickly scoop it up and see that there are more! oh i was so excited as it was totally unexpected! i've been waiting for my dwarf platy to give birth for months now. but the mama to these babies is my one and only female guppy. i bought her pregnant so have no idea who the father is (paternity test!). lol. after an hour of scooping them up and adding them into the nursery, moving the mother and all, i'm finally done. i took some pictures and would like to share them with you all. i'm so happy, i'm finally a grandma!
