The guppy we bought 2 weeks ago gave birth 3 hours after we bought her home (very dark colouring and gravid spot was not really noticeable)
Anyway we set up a seperate tank and the 5 that survived are doing well
We have been feeding them liquifry and very fine flake food
Is there any thing else we should be doing???

Also there is a fluffy white stuff on the gravel any ideas???

I read somewhere about cotton wool like stuff well this looks like cotton wool when you drop it in water if you know what I mean

Can I treat this???

The fluffy stuff i think would be a resualt of over feeding, this would also push up harmful chemicals if so, like ammonia and nitrite.
Do several water changes over the next 2 weeks with 25% water changed.

Don't worry about feeding liquifry, i have never used this with livebearers. Crushed flake is fine with a little diahina or newly hatched brine shrimp they love.

Thanks I was worried tthey weren'tt getting enough
I have also noticed white lines like fine thread on the glass today could this be tthe over feeding also???

guess they are slowly moving over the glass, and yes these are another sign of over feeding
