i have some guppy fry about 1 month old now and some have got a pointed tail and some have got a wide tail like adults but i as wondering if itisnormal for some to have very little tails that are pointed

probably due to different genetic material. you said some have very pointed tails. so i take it to be the minority. this could be a result of your non-dominant genes in your parent guppies showing up in their offsprings. normal i would say. if they are not showing any problems i guess u shouldnt worry much about it.

Hey, I'm having the same problem...Two of my guppy have died tho...I'm not sure whether its from the "pin tail" or the med I put in...One of them is doing better but the smallest ones tail is completely pointed..I dont really know what to do tho..I researched it and its a type of "Itch" sickness...like microscopic leaches on the fish making the fins go togother I guess...I dont know....I dont want my male fry guppy to die tho...hes the only male fry I have out of 16!!! Anyways...if you find anything useful please let me know!! Good luck.
