My guppies fry are not really colourful and their tail are not fancy, but their parents are from pretty fancy guppy. The females are colourless with only a black spot on their tail. They are now around 1cm+. Anyone who can help?

hi,
my females were 3 months before they had any real colour,
by this time any males you have should be very colourfull, its a waiting game realy :good:

Yes it dose take some time for then to develop the colour, and at 3 months you may start to sex some young males but colour may tale another 3 weeks to get there.

At 1cm long there is no way I would be worried just get.

My baby is about 1.5cm long and is half black (tail end) and I keep wondering when he will change, but it takes time.

They will turn out beautiful, just you wait and see.

yeah it took mine a loooong time to get color. i've even noticed that the males develop slower than females so you might think it's a female by the fin, but turns out to be a male later on. i'd say mine got color around 2 months.
