I don't get all of this. I'm thinking of getting a tank divider for my 50gallon tank. If so would i need to get another heater and filter? Also when could i let the fry into the main tank? How big would they be or how old. Also can someone list all the items i will need for the guppy fry and the giving birth.

If your section off part of the tank with a divider, you wont need anothe heater etc, the water will be fine if the divider has holes in it and it will stay at the same temp..

Food wise you need, crushed falke, crushed pellets, crushed protien foods (use a blender, i do)..

Heavily plant the new section after dividing it, when the female is ready to drop, simply place her in the new section and after she gives birth, reales her..

Its a good way your doing it because you dont have to use traps/nets and no stress will be involved what so ever.

If you are going to put the fry in the main tank, only put them in once you think they can fit in the mouth of your biggest fish ;)

would i need to get another heater and filter?

No if you have enough circulation of water your be fine.

when could i let the fry into the main tank?

All depends on what other fish your keeping. but at around 1cm they be fine to go with most fish.

Also can someone list all the items i will need for the guppy fry and the giving birth.

Just keep the fry away from the larger fish feed them twice a day with crushed flake food and some small live foods like daphina.

I would feed them more than 2 times a day, feed them small ammounts 4-6 times a day if you can, fry motableisms are really fast and this is why they need feeding more.

I'm away most of the day so she might give birth when i'm not their so would i just catch the fry and put them into the other side. Also about heavily planting my tank i am not very succesful at that as all my plants die. I have about 2cm of gravel, pots to weigh them down, I think i have co2 in their i have a heater filter and bubbles, any other tips?

The section you divide off, put the female in it when you think she ready to drop (or close to) this way she will have fry in the new section and when she is done, you can put her bk in the main part..

If you put plent of hiding places or fake plants in the new section, the fry will have a great sucess rate of surviving the mother (as she may try to eat them)..

How do i post pictures i tried copy and paste but it didn't work. She is behaving normally .healthy. Rather small so probablly young. Has a black spot by her anal fin. Stays close to others near the top. Is big but roundish i would say.

to post a pic, simply google Zshare, it has a instant upload system, no regitering needed..

then copy the direct link here.. or select the image box and put the direct link it and it will display as a pic..

or put
img] after the link (without the *)
