Guppy Fry Questions

Hi all. My tank finished its cycling, and I bought some guppies and ghost shrimp. Well, one of the guppies gave birth today. I don't know which one, I just so happened to notice babies at the bottom. I thought I had caught them all, but I keep finding more. I just have two questions: Will the ghost shrimp eat the babies? How many babies does a guppy usually have?

Guppys can have up to 40+ fry although 20 is more common, the ghost shrimp though won't tough the fry- how many gallons is the tank and what and how many fish do you have in it ?

40 gal with 5 mollies, 6 guppies and 6 ghost shrimp.
