Good Morning!

My question is fairly simple. I have a 29 gallon/fresh and have 5 zebra danios, 5 guppies, 2 rasboras, 1 hatchet fish (rehomed to me) and about 6 ghost shrimp. A few days ago I saw 3 guppy fry at the bottom of my tank. I think I have another guppy that is about to have some too. I'm really not interested in raising any but I still would like to know.....

Will my danios eat my guppy fry? My daughter is worried that the shrimp will since a couple are adult I'm sure.

What do ya'll think?

The guppies may also eat their own offspring. If you want to save them you can either add lots of plants for them to hide in or scoop up the fry and stick them in a breeder trap for the first few weeks.

I would say that their days are numbered unless they know enough to hide, or unless there is a physical barrier to protect them.

Your fry are in danger.

One of my guppies gave birth and I did not even get chance to see a single fry.

Regards
