Guppy Fry In Breeding Trap

hey,

I was just wondering how long the guppy fry could/should stay in the breeding trap?...the trap is designed for one female...um ok so here is my logic

If the fry are in a smaller space they have easier access to food..and do not have to work hard to get it and then they will grow faster/get the food they need.

Is this true? Will their growth become stunted? there are about 20 or so i would say...also i want to do the same for my swordtail fry when they arrive...should be in the next few days...any help would be great!

Well theyy won't be able to stay in there to long since they will get to big and be cramped so I would say a week or so and the way I see it they need to work a little to get the food so they are strong and healthy fish.
