Hi, iver been grinding up falke food but they dont seem to be eating it...what do they like? Brine shrimp eggs?

Hi,
i feed mine crushed up tetra pro crisps, try a different flake aswell as the brine shrimp/eggs :)
ps have you really got a bala shark in 10ltrs as in your sig

Is that a 10 liter or 10 gallon tank? If 10 liter you are way over stocked and how on earth can you have fry survive with that many predators in such a small space?

Yep its a 10 litre, unfortunately. But im hopefully getting a juwel rekord 70 for xmas, or ill have to buy it after. ANyways, ive got a real small breeding trap in there. Its not ideal i know but all the other fish seem alright with it in there.
I cant wait till i get my bigger tank, but, when i add all the fish in my current tank in there, how many other fish can i add or will that be it??? And do i have to still add 2 fish every week or so?
MAny thanks -_-

And is your yo-yo loach (sidithimunkis) peaceful or do they seem to annoy your other fish?

Hate to tell you this but the bala needs a lot more room than the rekord you are getting.
They grow really big and need to be in a group. If a bala feels its in too small a body of water it will try and jump out.
Would you consider taking it back as then you would have room for all the remaining fish?

As for the fry then i agree with trying different brands of food.

But people say they need a minimum of 55 litres

I think you'll find they mean 55 gallons, and even that is a very small size when you compare adult size (12-14") with their activity levels (very high) and the need for a group of 6+.
