Guppy Female Question

I realize the picture is horrible:

But, I have two questions.

The black spot is very visible even in this horrible picture. If I'm right, that means she is pregnant, right?

Also, you can see the color in the tailfin. It is yellow with black spots.

My LFS sold me this as a "Common" Guppy. I picked up 2 females to day so the males might give my other 3 a break.

I would like to know if this is accurate.

Fancy would be the better description, but if they are known locally as Common, then that is fine too. It is a standard guppy that people would recognize as such.

If she was in a tank with boys, she is pregnant. The gravid spot is evident, but I would guess she has another 2-3 weeks to go before you will see fry.

Get them well fed on some good chow, and watch 'em go!

I guess I need to find some more Micro Sword and some other plants.....

In regards to common, what baffled me was these were "common" but he was out of what females. These were the ones he kept in back, so I'm really curious what he would not consider common???
