i've been lookin around and doing a little research on guppies and i cant seem to find the answer to my problem. recently, i've bought 3 female and 1 male guppies. what i'm concerned about is the male guppy's aggression. so far, one of the female's upper jaw seems to be torn off and the side of her "face" seems to have a patch of some sort that looks like it has been beaten up. i put that female in a breeding net for her safety. within the next few hours i check back up on the fish and another female is damaged. this female has a huge chunk of her tail fin's color missing. the tail is damaged of corse and te fish is somewhat struggling to swin now. since
the male has shown a little aggression with the females since i've put them together but i had no idea that the male would go as far as nipping fins and mouths.
yes i do have other fish in the tank. the other fish are 5 ghost/glass cat fish new to the tank as well. the catfish all tend to themselves and if anything, are afraid of the guppies.
any info is appreciated...thanks in advanced! :)

If the male is bullying them I would take him out of there! You could always return him to your lfs and get a gentler male.
If it's not the male... well if this was happening to my tank I would give back the fish that did it to my lfs.
