i have 2 females and and 2 males but the 1 male doesnt try 2 mate the females as hes quite old so my ratio is good.
when do u think they will be pregnant ?
i have had the females and males together for about a week and a half now. but not sure how long it takes for the male to get them pregnant. any ideas?

They are probably already pregnant.

Yep, just watch and seeif they get bigger! If they've been together that long there's a 95% chance one of them is pregnant!

I am brand new to this whole thing, but last weekend I got my fishies, monday night I noticed one was a bit big...by wensday she gave birth!!! it did happen quite quickly, but for the last day she was like a balloon!!!

they get biggar over time i think its like28 days to a month mayb more or less, but when she looks well fat and fit to burst with dark gravid spot she is close

after about 2 weeks they'll start to get bigger

thanks, i can see her gravid spot is already getting darker and bigger. im going to buy some pebbles at the weekend to put in the tank instead of my gravel cus its better for the fry cus they can hide in them. bless em!

In about a month she will give birth. They start getting fat and in about 2-3 weeks you can start seeing a big difference. By week 4 she will look REALLY fat, like she's about to burst.
