Hi about 6 weeks ago i had my first ever fry from my molly and and about 2 days later a load of guppy fry too and they were kept in seperate breeding nets in my 34 gal tank. Anyway now i can clearly see sexes of the gupie and they have been seperated but what suprised me was the fact that the guppy fry (even though younger) are loger than the molly fry and i still can not tell what sex the mollies are (i know about looking for the pointed anal fin and its made more difficult but them hiding and being silver).
Is it normal for guppies to grow faster than mollies? as i wasn't expecting that to happen and how can i tell the molly sexes? as i have said i cant see the anal fin on most because its clear and i do not see gravid spots on any of them which i thought would be easy to see as their silver.
