Guppies

Yesterday we bought some Jumbo Guppies, they are about 3 time the size of normal guppies, i got two, a black tuxedo one who is very pregnant and an albino onw with Pink eyes, they wereboth heavily pregnant, ( i say were cos the black one had her babies - 3 tiny tiny ones yesterday and some much bigger ones today and quite a few of them were black!) but the albino one does not have a black gravid spot but a very large pink one- am i right in thinking that the gravis spot on a guppies is actually the unborn fry's eyes so if thats the case the new babies wil have pink eyes
Also will the size of the guppies relate to the babies, will they be bigger than nomral as they grow

has any one ever seen these huge gupp's before, i've never seen them and the shop had quite a few in, they also had some jumbo sailfin sword tails that must have been about 4/5 inches -they were massive.

Also the black guppies is still having babies!! they are a bit bigger than the normal babies but i was confused about the miniscule babies that were born yesterday has anyone known this to happen- a few teenytiny babies and then a load of normal ones??

yes this happens quite offten to me, i dont ahve these jumbo guppys and im not quite sure what they are, never heard of them. userally when my female drops a load of babys the smallest ones will come first and then the large ones. sadly i rarely am abale to keep the runty ones alive very long but i have had a few. no, they only way that the babys from the albino female can be albino is that the male who knocked her up was also albino. its a strange gene, i wouldn't expect anything like that.

thanks guppy dude, sadly the guppy who had the babies dies shortly afterwards, looking at her when we removed her from the tank it look as if she had damaged her right fin, could have happened when she jumped out of the breeder
but on a good note the babies are doing well, we have transfered them to the
The fry tank.
