i have read that guppies usual length of pregnancy is 4 weeks but mine are about 6 weeks pregnant and still havent dropped neither do they look any fatter

theyrent pregnate then. Just because they have a gravid spot doesnt mean theyre pregnate, it means theyre females. Even little babie fry have gravid spots.

Well.....you can't say that wrs... she might have been stressed at one point and the babies didn't get enough time to develope so they're taking longer to come out of the momma prolly... :shrugs: well Gl

A female guppy can produce fry every 25-90 days it depends on the temperature of the tank, the higher the tempertaure the faster the rate the female repoduces.
Stress can also have an impact of the female guppies delivery day, it can stop her from giving fry and she will hold them in until she thinks that it is safe enough for her to give birth.
If you want your female guppies to give birth quicker I would make the tank heavily planted so that there would be more hiding spots and they would feel safer. I would also put the water temperature more higher... around 25-26C... Also make sure that you don't have any aggresive fish placed with them.

Hope this helped.

my guppys the same, shes looks lik hes gunna blow and has looked that way for about 4 weeks now but still nothing :/
This is the female in your 10 Gallon right? It might be stress as I said before... is it a heavily planted tank? Sometimes the female guppies has to get familiar with her surrounding very well and also her tank mates before she can give birth happily.

it depends on your tank conditions and a few of my guppies took longer for their drop but their drop was bigger than the others :kana:
