how long are guppies pregnant before they drop their babies i have had mine about 3 weeks now and they dont look any bigger??

The gestation period for most livebearers is 20-40 days.

I'd say 27-32 days, but after 28 days is when most of my females give birth. I can predict the birth by using 28 days with most of my gups.

lol these guys are right yes and I'm not being cheeky or anything but are they pregnant??? you just said youve had them for a few weeks, mayb they havent become pregnant yet? sorry if its just me reading it wrong though

im not stupid, of course they are pregant they have the gravid spot and i bought them from my lfs not raised them from fry........thanks for your concern anyway

lol just checking, but when you say you bort from lfs, i will just say that the advice people have given me, if you buy pregnant from the fish shop it can give them stress and cause them to abort the pregnancy... someone will have to confirm what happens as i dont know but that could be it, HTH abit better
