I'm currently fishless cycling my 40 gallon tank, and when im finished im planing on starting to breed guppies a little.
I also have a 15 gallon that is empty (used for storing bits and bobs cos i cant be bothered to put them anywhere else). but i might decide to get this one up and running aswell.
Anyway, has anyone got any advice on how to stop being over-run by guppies? or any methods i could use to breed them?

Save the first batch, but then let the rest live on their own and the grownups will eat them, wile you do that throw away the ugly stupid ones. By giving them away or letting them go in a pond or something.

lol i agree with the letting nature take its course thing with the fry but u cant let guppys go in a pond, thats cruel, just give them to a pet shop or sumthin, they'll take em.
