Okay I have 5 guppies 2 males 3 females. I thought my guppy was pregnant.. then I looked again and it looks like something black is coming out her side and she's swimming funny. I don't know what to do.

Welcome to the forum.

You really need to give us lots more information. Size of tank, how long it's been cycled, what the water stats are (using a liquid testing kit) and if anything else unusual has happened. A photo of the sick fish would be priceless.

Okay i have a 10 gl tank and I've had the tank since May 12 and I don't have s testing kit the store test my water. And I will see about uploading the Picture

I'm sorry, but this is just too small to really see what's wrong.

You honestly should buy yourself a liquid test kit to test your own water. It's a bit of an investment but really priceless if you want to keep your water at the right levels.

If the LFS tests your water, have them write down the parameters, then post those here.

If something black is indeed coming out of her side, I would think it's some kind of parasite.

If you have a fish that's not behaving normally, the first thing you should do is a large (50 or 60%) water change, with warm dechlorinated water.

I'm afraid your pic's too small for me to even guess what's going on; it could be that she's giving birth (watch her carefully for a while; you don't really want to water change when she's right in the middle of labour), or it could be that she has intestinal parasites or a hernia or prolapse of some kind.

Thanks everyone!! She's still a live. I have a video but it won't up load. I want to take her to the store but I don't think she will make it. I have another one that looks like she's pregnant so what should I do? I'm going to get me a nursery box and testing kit.. once again thank you

Please don't put the pregnant one in a "nursery box" because it will cause her a lot of stress. And I have no idea what's wrong with this one that's pictured. I can't tell what that is on her side. But if you said something was hanging out of that hole then it's a worm problem. And, this isn't a guppy. I think it's either a molly or a platy. And, she's not pregnant.

Update I went to the store with video in hand. They said it was a parasite and told me to buy Tetra Parasite Guard I'm hoping none die but I might lose the one, Now I just have to wait and see what happens.
