Hi, is it ok to put a female guupy in my tank even though i have male guppies, i know they will breed but is it ok just to levae them, and leave her to have babies freely??

also...will a female guppy eat her fry?

;) It's always best to have two females for every male guppy. The guppies would eat the fry, unless you have plenty of hiding places in the tank for them. If you want to save most of the fry, you could buy a breeder net that hangs on the side of the tank. Hope this helps!

Sasha has you pretty much covered. All my guppies live together/forever, I do like to keep the number of females above that of the males though to give the gals a chance to rest from the sexual advances.
